Dear cbsi Friends:

We are really excited to recently surpass 600 episodes of our #cbsiTalkingBusiness interview series, so appreciate all of our participating guests, trade groups, and followers.

Delighted to feature an interview with banker, John Buhrmaster President and CEO of 1st Bank of Scotia located near Schenectady, NY, also a past national chairman of the Independent Community Bankers of America. John offers insight on supporting both employees and customers thru the pandemic, utilizing fintechs and processors to meet customer expectations and the importance of encouraging financial literacy.

Pleased to present talks with two cbsi colleagues Peter Alter and Megan Delaney. Peter provides an outline of a number of group benefit programs that cbsi has available to help travelers who may have an travel problem such as unexpected Covid quarantine expenses. Megan describes how the customer service teams she leads pivoted to handle growing call volume at start of pandemic. She describes one of our most popular programs, a MUST have benefit for car rental customers.

Glad to have an update from credit card and travel writer Jason Steele on the recovery of the travel industry. Jason will host his annual Cardconexp.com gathering of credit card media and brands Nov 17-18th in Denver.

Entrepreneur, author, long time friend David Radlo describes how to disrupt markets through innovation.

We closely followed the July Money2020 #Moneyfest web conference which featured financial service experts from around the globe, great perspective on fintechs, embedded benefits, cybersecurity, serving underbanked, hybrid cloud systems, valuing companies. Notes are in our summary below.
