Holiday Message from cbsi COO, Gerard Garofolo

"Courage is not having the strength to go; it is going on when you don't have the strength."
-Theodore Roosevelt, 26th President of the United States

Wow!

Another year has passed and we, as individuals, families, businesses, states, countries, and more importantly, mankind, are still trying to navigate our way through an ongoing global pandemic. However, we have collectively kept our heads down and persevered. We have been creative and have adapted both at home and on the job. We have embraced technology and the new digital world, while also gaining a greater appreciation for time spent with loved ones.

Has it been easy? Emphatically no! However, we have and will continue to proceed. We will evolve and adapt. At cbsi we are creating new benefits like the COVID-19 Protection Plan that provides valuable services designed to help reduce the risk of the COVID-19 virus adversely impacting travel plans, personal health, and travel expenses.

We have implemented new technologies to better understand and deliver data, including The BenefitsConnectSM Platform that aims to be a suite of technology-driven, interoperable services designed to enhance brand loyalty with benefits providers by bringing every level of interaction between consumers and benefits into the mobile, digital, AI and AR age.

cbsi has also innovated, most recently using video podcasts and social media distribution platforms, to bring information and people together throughout this global pandemic. Our “Talking Business” series of interviews is the most clicked on feature in cbsi’s monthly correspondence with our 1,200 clients.

Winston Churchill once said “Never give in. Never, never, never!”

While I completely agree, I’d prefer to leave you with a quote from John Belushi and the movie Animal House – “When the going gets tough – the tough get going!”

On behalf of the entire cbsi team, I’d like to thank you for your continued interest in cbsi and for your ongoing support. Wishing you Peace and Happiness this Holiday Season and a Happy and Healthy New Year!

Sincerely,

Gerard A. Garofolo
COO- cbsi
