The Virtual World
When we think of Augmented Reality (AR) or Virtual Reality (VR), we often imagine wearing heavy headsets that cover our vision so that we can play some online game.
And yet, Virtual Reality finds its way into more common forms of business than perhaps we realize. Since 1970, VR has been applied in medicine, flight simulation, automobile industry design and military training purposes.
In this issue we present various means in which AR and VR are beginning to change the way technology intersects with insurance and finance.
