Being "Purpose Driven" both as an organization or brand and individually was a theme we heard multiple times at conferences we were privileged to attend in 4th quarter this year.
Maintaining customer trust, synchronizing the disciplines of on-line marketing, being time effective in generating social media presence, building a supportive culture, delegation as a means to growth, were key points we heard. Perhaps the most pragmatic question was Tammy Berentson of on-line grocer FreshDirect.com was
"How is this idea going to sell bananas?
It was inspiring to hear the commitment to serving needs of veterans and military families from USAA and Google while covering the Army-Navy Game.
