In the 1970s, CBSI was among the first to mail insurance offers to bank credit card customers. These programs created large portfolios of insured customers who proved to be loyal and generated many years of revenue for our Client financial institutions. In the 1980s, we became one of the largest providers of enhancement programs to the credit card industry. We developed several of the most popular products, including merchandise protection and car rental insurance. Today over 100 million cardholders enjoy the benefits provided by the enhancement products we manage. In the 1990s, CBSI's expertise and scope expanded from product management to program management. Because the right product is just one piece of a successful program, we added the capability to develop, manage, and monitor complete direct response marketing programs ' mail, telemarketing and Web-based. In providing our full-service package, we emphasize quality assurance and place just as much importance on fulfillment as we do on making a sale. Currently, CBSI has more enhancement customers participating in CBSI managed, or sponsored, programs than any other provider in the United States. In addition, CBSI has built a wealth of knowledge in dealing with market service providers, by analyzing and personally visiting over 600 sites. |
